One of Hong Kong’s Historic Buildings, Little, Adams, and Wood’s 1927 St. Paul’s Co-educational College is a Neo-Georgian building of red brick, seven stories, and a courtyard. Built as the site of St. Paul’s Girl’s College, it became a first aid station of the Colonial Government from 1942 to 1945, the campus of Chinese University from 1951 to 1953, and since then, the home to St. Paul’s Co-educational College.
In the residency Homecoming, Fung creates furniture from its architecture. Through this, she brings the history and beauty of its past to life, while meeting the present needs and wants of its community to sit, rest, breathe, be, and live.
