HOMECOMING

Hong Kong
2023-

One of Hong Kong’s Historic Buildings, Little, Adams, and Wood’s 1927 St. Paul’s Co-educational College is a Neo-Georgian building of red brick, seven stories, and a courtyard. Built as the site of St. Paul’s Girl’s College, it became a first aid station of the Colonial Government from 1942 to 1945, the founding campus of Chinese University from 1951 to 1953, and since then, the home of St. Paul’s Co-educational College.

Celebrating the 110th anniversary of the school, Homecoming transforms its architecture into seven pieces of furniture. Made of material, imagination, and memory, each piece tells a part of its story. Placed in school and used by students, these pieces bring history back to life: lived and lived with as part of daily life.
