HOMECOMING

Hong Kong
2023-

One of Hong Kong’s Historic Buildings, Little, Adams, and Wood’s 1927 St. Paul’s Co-educational College is a Neo-Georgian building of red brick, seven stories, and a courtyard. Built as St. Paul’s Girls’ College, it served as the 7th First Aid Station of the Colonial Government from 1942 to 1945, the founding campus of Chung Chi College (later the Chinese University of Hong Kong) from 1951 to 1953, and since then, the home of St. Paul’s Co-educational College.

Homecoming transforms its hundred years of architecture into furniture. Shaped through the building’s archive, 36 workshops, 1000+ student drawings and writings, and alumni memories, each piece tells a part of its story. Returned to school and used by students, these pieces bring its history back to life—home.
